Understanding the importance of ESG

ESG stands for environmental, social and governance, and refers to an organization's environmental, social and governance practices.
In recent times this term has gained great prominence due to organizations' growing concern for the environment, which in turn leads the financial market to invest in more sustainable companies.
ESG signals solidity, lower costs, a better reputation and greater resilience amid uncertainty and vulnerability.

Environmental

Among our practices aimed at preserving the environment, the cyclical economy adopted by every company in our Group is our main pillar. It reduces the need to extract more natural resources, eliminates waste across the production chain and consequently helps nature by generating less waste.

Social

Besides reducing the need to extract more natural resources, this dynamic eliminates waste across the production chain, meaning savings for industries, their partners and the end customer. Extending the life cycle of the resources we have, creating opportunities, generating jobs and income and bringing positive visibility to those who take part is what drives our social development.

Governance

Our company's current governance is fully responsible for the sustainable practices we adopt, and is therefore central to the whole process. We are very grateful to be able to develop our businesses in harmony with the environment, and we are aware of the responsibility we carry. Our dream is to live in a world where everything we produce is circular and we work eagerly every day to get there.
